1973 saw the start of production at danfloor in Kibaek near Herning, Denmark. Since then the development of the company has accelerated and today it is one of the leading tufted carpet manufacturers in Denmark. Acquired by the Ulster Group in January 2002 it is in recognition that a once family owed company has now been adopted by the Ulster Group, itself founded in 1938 during the great depression, and still today remains a family-own global organisation that is driven to continuingly strive for quality of service and product.

A contributing factor to our continuing success is our ability to service customers from our extensive U.K stock holding. Carpet manufactured in our Danish tufting plant and then backed in arguably Europe's most technically advanced carpet backing facility, is shipped daily into our Bristol warehouse for U.K distribution.
