The Poets is exquisitely designed and flaunts a fabulous atrium entrance and reception with an imperial staircase turning all the way to the second floor; from which you can see across the trees and rooftops of the beautiful seaside town.
South Coast Nursing Homes wanted to design and build a home to a standard and luxury like no other. Enlisting the assistance of ECE Architecture and Blueleaf to bring their vision to life, they aimed to create a spacious environment that would provide a luxurious and comfortable stay for all their residents in beautifully appointed and well-designed rooms.
South Coast Nursing Homes, through the build, design and specification of finishing products, offer facilities and expert care that provide a lifestyle that is both happy and peaceful for those living at The Poets.
The stunning atrium leads through to a comfortable open lounge area, and then into a café restaurant that offers a spectacular view of the gardens and cascading water features through panoramic opening doors.
The Poets also boasts an entertainment studio, library, dining and seating areas, as well as a hair salon. Every en-suite bedroom is spacious and modern with both the residential and nursing settings having all the comforts and luxuries that one can expect to find “at home”. To help achieve this high-end finish and comfortable feel a number of danfloor ranges were specified for the bedrooms, lounges and feature areas including Equinox Tones and the striking Origin and Geo Form ranges from the EvolutionCollection.

• Extreme durability – The Collections come in a variety of pile materials and weights with the EVOLUTION Collection being certified to British standard classification 33 “Heavy Commercial Use”. Both Collections can withstand high volumes of foot and wheeled traffic and intense commercial cleaning, making them ideal for use within care home corridors and communal areas.
• Antimicrobial yarn treatment – The Collections have been developed to include BI-OME’s innovative antimicrobial treatment which is designed to deactivate bacteria and viruses including those that can cause MRSA and E-coli. It has also been proven effective against SAR-CoV-2.
• Appearance retention – Manufactured using solution-dyed yarns the Collections offer a locked-in colourfast system that ensures superior colour and light fastness even when subject to harsh cleaning chemicals.
