With the assistance and project management from furniture manufacturer Edison & Day the interior design scheme aims to create a home away from home feeling that ensures residents have a gracious and fulfilled life

THE SOLUTION

Set over three floors, The Belmont features a Cinema, Spa Suite, Hairdressing Salon, Cocktail Bar, Exquisite Lounges, Library, Private Dining and Bistro Restaurants.

With the installation of Glaze from the Evolution Collection the home has created a calm and soothing design scheme that not only looks stylish and high end but creates a therapeutic environment that aids with day-to-day activities.

Danfloor’s Glaze in colour 350 sets a neutral yet elegant foundation for the interior scheme, which is truly beautiful.

THE OUTCOME

The Belmont is exquisitely designed with high-end finishes that promote a home from home feeling. With the installation of a Danfloor carpet the home will benefit from:

  • Extreme durability – The EVOLUTION Collection is certified to British standard classification 33 “Heavy Commercial Use” enabling it to withstand high volumes of foot and wheeled traffic and intense commercial cleaning, it’s therefore ideal for use within care home corridors and communal areas.
  • Appearance retention – Manufactured using solution-dyed Nylon the EVOLUTION Collection offers a locked-in colourfast system that ensures superior colour and light fastness even when subject to harsh cleaning chemicals.
  • Spill safe – EVOLUTION has an integral protective membrane, preventing liquid spills from penetrating through the sub-floor, reducing contamination, fungal growth and unpleasant odours.
  • Antimicrobial yarn treatment – EVOLUTION has been developed to include BI-OME’s innovative antimicrobial treatment which is designed to deactivate bacteria and viruses including those that can cause MRSA, E-coli and COVID.
  • Acoustically Sound Environment – Carpets provide many well-being benefits from providing a more acoustically sound environment; which aids rest, relaxation and facilitates effective communication between staff and residents.
