Tanglewood’s Richard House is a purpose-built home offering person-centred care, delivered by caring staff, in an environment that has been expertly designed to accommodate the needs of all the residents.
Tanglewood wanted to create a home where care, accommodation and kindness go hand in hand when striving to provide a meaningful quality of life.
As all residents deserve beautiful accommodation Tanglewood engaged Kerry Southern-Reason, Managing Director of the Care Home Interiors Company, to coordinate the interior design schemes across the whole of the home. Kerry aimed to design unique and coordinated schemes that would be sympathetic to all the residents who may require assistance with moving around and navigating the home.
Kerry set out to specify finishing products that create luxury schemes but still maintain a home-from-home feeling and assist the home with achieving a clean and healthy environment for all those who live and work at Richard House.
Included within her schemes were a variety of products from the Equinox Collection. Manufactured to perform in such environments the Equinox Collection offers superior performance and fantastic product features including an antimicrobial yarn treatment and soil and stain repellent yarns.
The Collection has also been awarded the Eurofins Gold Certificate for Indoor Air Quality which assures that the products have low emissions and contribute to a healthy indoor environment.
The home encompasses a home-from-home feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Offering an environment where care and compassion are at the heart of everything Richard House do. The interior schemes and décor play a big part in offering a therapeutic scheme and the Equinox Collection offers the following innovative product features:
