New RIBA CPD Article

Our first CPD Article

We are pleased to announce that RIBA has approved our first CPD Article on the topic of Understanding Infection Control with the use of Carpets within Healthcare Environments.

The article is based upon a literature review of research into the use of Carpet within non-clinical areas and evidence which suggests that carpet shouldn't be considered any more of an infection control risk than other hard flooring options.

Carpets provide many therapeutic benefits for care environments, are quicker and less expensive to clean than hard flooring alternatives, and with the inclusion of an antimicrobial yarn, coating offer a proactive approach to infection prevention and control.
