Lets Jump for Mind

Nobody should face mental health issues alone and at danfloor we support the great work that the charity Mind do to support those who are living with a mental health problem.

As a result, we have decided to sponsor a local lady Loz Thompson, who is living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), as well as having battled with depression in the past. Loz, despite being terrified of heights and flying, is taking on a tandem skydive to raise funds for the charity.

“Mind is a fantastic charity who are there for people, like myself, during their darkest times. As little as £3 can help to send support booklets to 9 people to help them understand their symptoms and the support and treatment available to them, whereas £500 can fund the running of their support line for one day. This will be a massive challenge for me, having to battle personal fears, but I’m looking forward to the jump and raising funds for the charity”

If you would like to sponsor Loz her just giving page is https://www.justgiving.com/laura-thompson44?utm_source=Sharethis&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=laura-thompson44&utm_campaign=pfp-email.
