Fundraising Fun

During 2024 the danfloor team pledged to raise funds for three local charities. To meet this goal, the team took on various challenges, including walking the Bath skyline, participating in badminton and go-karting tournaments, virtually biking from the UK to the Denmark office, hosting Christmas-themed bake-offs, pub quizzes, and bingo sessions.

Behind all the fun and games was a meaningful purpose: supporting three charities dedicated to improving the lives of people facing daily and life-changing challenges. Through their efforts, the team raised a total of £4,500, which was equally shared among the following charities

Winston's Wish, is a remarkable UK charity that provides vital support and guidance to children facing the loss of a loved one, as well as to their families and the professionals who support them.

Our donation alone could fully fund their Bereavement Support Helpline for an entire day, ensuring that a specially trained team are there when they're needed most.
We hope this contribution helps bring comfort and stability to the young people supported by Winston's Wish during such a challenging time.

Paul's Place provides a crucial service to physically disabled adults by offering social activities that foster connection, reduce isolation, enhance health and well-being, and empower individuals to develop new skills and embrace new experiences.

Our donation will contribute to the daily operations of Paul's Place and could even fund their mini-bus service for a month and a half, ensuring members can attend their activities. The organisation also has exciting plans to move into a purpose-built facility, allowing them to expand their reach and support even more people in the community.
It was inspiring to meet the dedicated team, some of the wonderful members and to witness firsthand the incredible work they do.

The Jessie May Trust is an incredible local charity that provides at-home nursing and respite care for children and young people with terminal or life-limiting conditions across the South West. Their team of specially trained nurses offer vital support to families during the most challenging times.

Our contribution to Trust could fund six respite sessions for families in need.

The team at danfloor are thrilled that our fundraising efforts will make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many individuals and their families.
