Exciting Opportunities to join our Sales Team – NE and SE Regions

danfloor (Uk) Limited (An Ulster Group Company) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist carpets for the health, education and commercial flooring sectors. Established in the UK in 1985 danfloor (Uk) Limited is recognised as a successful organisation that has built its reputation on the foundations of product, service and its people.

Due to our continued expansion, we now have two opportunities to join our Sales Team, with one role available in the North East and another in the South East. The roles are essentially territory-based and therefore require residency within the area.

North East Role - Humberside, Yorkshire, Co. Durham, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham

South East Role - London (North), Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire

The Role of Area Sales Manager

Our territory Sales Manager role offers a challenging sales career for a motivated and committed individual to be successful within the textile and interior finishes market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success within the specification sector, working with interior products across the architect and interior design community, as well as fit-out and flooring contractors. Experience within residential care and social housing, education, healthcare, and commercial building sectors is highly desirable.

After an introductory period, you will be expected to increase the awareness of the danfloor brand within the region to our existing commercial & healthcare customers, develop and generate new business opportunities across all market sectors and maintain, manage and grow profitable business. In return, the position offers the successful individual an opportunity to become an integral part of a thriving team and forward-thinking organisation.

Through your experience and knowledge, you will contribute to the ongoing success of the wider Ulster group. Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • A previous track record of commercial sales success within the flooring and carpet industry
  • An understanding of working within the construction industry and the contractor sector
  • Knowledge of the architectural sector and the specification route to market
  • Fantastic organisational and project management skills, and the ability to work on one’s own initiative
  • An ability to manage time effectively & produce IT-based data on time
  • Strategic management of project leads and follow-through to the achievement of tasks & goals.

 

Candidates must hold a current full UK Driving Licence. Benefits of the position include a competitive and attractive basic salary, performance-related bonus, company car, private healthcare package & pension scheme.
