2015 has been an incredibly busy year for danfloor. Despite the continued economic issues affecting some areas of our target markets and the increasing presence of alternative options for flooring solutions we have maintained our market position and made headway into new markets.
In addition to growing our sales force and sales support team we have had many other achievements across the business and below are our top 5.
Launch of our new web site – You’ll be reading this article on our newly launched web site which is a dynamic and user friendly site with all the information you require. It’s been a development project which has spanned many months and we are very proud of our new look site. However we are always looking to improve so if you have any comments or feedback please do let us know via our contact us page.
Winning the CFJ award – Back in October we announced that we had won the CFJ Award for Best Broadloom Carpet provider for the 8th year in row. This is an award which is voted for by the people who buy and use our products this means a great deal to us. Let’s see whether 2016 will make it 9 years in a row.
Being selected to form part of the innovation tour at the Care and Dementia Show – This year’s Care Show took a slightly different format with the introduction of the Dementia Conference which ran alongside the exhibition itself. During the show delegates from the conference were taken around the exhibition to meet companies who provide products which are ideal for use within dementia settings and danfloor were selected to form part of these tours. We welcomed the opportunity to talk with the interested groups and answer your questions in terms of the suitability of our products.
Maintaining business relationships with some of the big care groups – This year we have seen many of the big Care Groups review their purchasing policies in order to stream line their outgoing costs. Despite the fact that our products are not the cheapest on the market it is great to see that we have maintained relationships with these big groups and they value the quality of our products and the fact that they are stocked and distributed from our UK head office.
Launch of our Design for mental Health guide – This year we decided to exhibit for the first time at the Design in Mental Health Show. After receiving endorsement from one of the speakers Ian Callaghan from Recovery and Outcomes that carpet is important in creating a healing environment we produced our guide, in conjunction with Ian, Design for Mental Health. We received such a warm welcome from this sector of the market that we will be returning to the show in 2016.
