THE AIM
Gainsborough House believes that at this stage in life it’s time for their residents to relax and live in luxury. With this in mind the home wanted to create, through the use of colour and textures, a homely, warm and modern atmosphere with light, bright open spaces and communal areas which are distinctive and stylish yet warm and welcoming.
“Our aim is to provide luxury communal living combined with elegant and comfortable bedrooms providing our residents with an environment which is modern yet welcoming. We want to provide spacious living areas which create an open and relaxed atmosphere. Some of our residents are also living with dementia so the products we use in finishing the building have to be suitable for their needs” says Jeanne Davies, Interior Designer for London and Manchester Healthcare.
THE SOLUTION
danfloor supplied 3,000 square metres of the stunning Equinox Stripe for communal lounges and from the Equinox Tones range the subtle Chanterelle for corridors and bedrooms.
Key to the decision in selecting Equinox Stripe and Tones for Gainsborough House was the quality and luxurious look and feel of the products. The Equinox range was also selected due to its outstanding performance features and antimicrobial coatings.
“The Equinox collection was cost effective and contained the 10 year Wear Guarantee it gives us complete peace of mind.” Jeanne continues “the Tones and Stripe ranges work so well together and helps to create a modern, stylish and co-ordinated interior design scheme.”
