At danfloor we appreciate that when selecting a carpet there maybe a number of questions you need answering. Our knowledgeable sales team are always on hand to answer your questions in person, however we have also pulled together a number of frequently asked questions that may assist you with the purchase, installation or care of your carpet.

Q.Do we recommend any particular adhesives?
A.
danfloor recommends the use of F Ball Adhesives. The type of subfloor and carpet backing will determine the type of adhesive to use and our Installation Guide provides full details and recommendations.
Q.Are your carpets guaranteed?
A.
All our carpets come with a full warranty package. Please contact our head office on 0844 915 1000 for further details.
Q.How can I get a sample for my design board?
A.
Sample material can be ordered in the following ways:
- By using our online sample request form
- By emailing sales@danfloor.co.uk or,
- By faxing the head office on 0844 915 2000.
When emailing or faxing your request please ensure you list all your requirements and delivery details.

A4 and 60x40cm sample material is available and are usually dispatched within 24 hours of your request.
Q.Can I purchase cut-lengths?
A.
You are able to purchase cuts of our carpets. Please contact the head office on 0844 915 1000 to check stock levels and your Area Representative for a cost.
Q.What is the width of your carpet range?
A.
All our broadloom carpets come in 4 metre widths. Our tile ranges are available in 500X500mm.
Q.How should I clean your carpets?
A.
to maximise the life of your carpet a comprehensive cleaning schedule should be instigated upon installation. Our Cleaning and Maintenance and Infection Control Guides provide full details on how to clean your carpet.
Q.Can I use bleach on your carpets?
A.
Our healthcare range is solution dyed which means bleach based products should be safe to use, however it’s best to test all cleaning products you wish to use on the carpet on a hidden area before applying to the whole area. We do not recommend the use of bleach on our other ranges.
Q.What is the Light Reflection Values (LRV) of your products?
A.
All the LRV’s for our products can now be found within the product pages under the colour swatches tab.
Q.Are you products BRE rated?
A.
The Equinox and New Generation collections now have BRE Certification. The Green Guide Ratings for each product and building type can be found on the Certification page
Q.How do I specify a danfloor product, do you have NBS?
A.
danfloor product specifications are available via www.NBSplus.co.uk. You can also download generic specifications from our web site.
Q.Can we deliver to site?
A.
We can deliver our carpets to any location in the United Kingdom. If your location has restrictions on weight and height access for vehicles please let us know when placing the order so we can arrange for permitted vehicles to make your delivery.
Q.How long will it take for my carpet to be delivered?
A.
All orders, providing the carpet is in stock, will be delivered within 7 working days.
Q.Do you stock carpet in the UK?
A.
danfloor has an extensive stock holding in the Uk with many of our ranges and colours available for delivery within 7 working days.
Q.How can I open a trade account?
A.
To open a trade account with us it is best to contact you Area Representative who will assist you with the simple process. Alternatively account opening enquiries can be emailed to sales@danfloor.co.uk
