The Aquafil Alto Chroma filament cross section produces a fibre that is not only crush resistant but that has superior yarn elasticity. This ultimately minimises carpet pile compression and deformation which also limits light reflection and guarantees appearance retention.
The yarn filament is prevented from breaking due to the superior fibre tenacity and abrasion resistance properties of the Alto Chroma fibre which ultimately provides excellent carpet durability.
The use of Alto Chroma yarn is recommended in carpeted areas used near or around food and drink, such as in the healthcare and hospitality sectors, making carpet cleaning and disinfection possible with solutions containing bleach, with no risk of polymer or colour degradation
